The main problem with trying to frame a shed on an existing concrete slab is trying to set the sill plate. the actual framing follows a standard process, the only exception being that you may have to toe-nail to attach the studs.. Concrete makes a permanent slab on which to build or place your shed, but it is brittle. it needs reinforcement to give it added tensile strength and to prevent cracking. you can use steel rebar, or steel mesh, or opt for having synthetic fiber added to the concrete before pouring.. Framing a wall on concrete slab floors is different than wood. learn how to frame a wall and set it on anchor bolts. we also show you how to frame a door opening and install double top plates..
